Why I’m bullish on Twitter (tO tHe MoOn!!!) 🚀🌝

I think Elon Musk acquiring Twitter is the best thing that’s ever happened for the platform.

Whether you love him or hate him (I personally love him), you can’t deny his incredible track record of innovation.

Look at what he’s accomplished at Tesla, for example.

A few years back, the Tesla Model S got the highest score possible from Consumer Reports — a perfect 100. They couldn’t find a single flaw and rated it as perfect in every way.

(That’s why the Model S is my dream car.)

And recently, the Model Y got the highest safety score of any car EVER tested by Europe’s NCAP (New Car Assessment Program).

That level of quality and innovation has made Tesla the most valuable car company in the world.

Tesla currently has a market cap of over $600 billion, which makes it worth more than the next six biggest car manufacturers COMBINED.

And that’s not even counting what Elon Musk has done at SpaceX (inventing reusable rockets).

So whatever your opinion is of him, you can’t deny that he’s really good at two things…

  1. Making innovative products.
  2. Growing companies.

That’s why I’m super bullish on Twitter.

Or as the crypto bros would say… tO tHe MoOn!!1! 🚀🌝

Patrick Bet-David (the serial entrepreneur and guy behind the popular “Valuetainment” YouTube channel) predicts that Twitter will be a trillion-dollar company in the future under Musk’s leadership, which is a 24x increase from where it’s at today.

Before Musk took over, Twitter had several flaws that turned me off of it. Namely, the widespread deplatforming, bots, and trolls.

Which is why I never used it much in the past. It used to be a stagnant platform that wasn’t going anywhere.

But Musk seems to be fixing those things, and he has innovative plans for the platform. So now I believe its potential is huge.

There’s also something uniquely powerful about Twitter for growing your brand and audience — the built-in virality of it.

There’s no other social platform that allows you to share things as easily as Twitter, and a retweet is just one click.

And for email marketers in particular, Twitter is highly appealing due to its list-building capabilities.

There’s a newsletter integration called Revue that lets people opt in to your list directly on your profile. Visitors can subscribe with the click of a button, without having to type in their email address and without leaving the platform.

And it captures the same email you’re signed up to Twitter with, which means you’re more likely to get people’s main email addresses when they opt in this way (instead of throwaway or “swipe” emails).

And then there’s the fact that it’s EASIER to produce content on Twitter than most other social platforms. No video or images required — just plain text, which is the simplest kind of content to create. And the short-form nature of it makes it even simpler.

It’s also the ultimate hook-testing machine. Each tweet is like a hook you can test on a live audience.

And since you can send many tweets every day, you can get lots of practice with rapid feedback. Which helps you level up your copywriting skills much faster.

So those are all the reasons why I’m super bullish on this platform now.

I predict Twitter will be one of the best ways to organically grow an audience and build your email list in the coming years.

So if you want to follow Yours Truly on Twitter, my handle is @beaudschultz.

I’ll be posting there regularly and testing this prediction for myself. Will keep you updated on the results.
